The Summer Hikaru Died is a 2025 anime based on the manga series written and illustrated by Mokumokuren. It is produced by CygamesPictures and the first season aired in Japan from July 5 to September 28, 2025, consisting of twelve episodes. VSI Los Angeles has produced an English dub of the series, which premiered in its entirety on Netflix on October 31, 2025.
