Pokémon the Series: XY is the 17th season of the long running Pokémon anime. It started in Japan on October 17th, 2013 and ended on October 30th, 2014. In the US, it originally aired as a preview on October 19th, 2013, but officially aired on January 18th, 2014, in which it ended on December 20th, 2014.
