Makiko Terashima (寺島真樹子, Terashima Makiko, born January 11, 1971 in Japan), better known as Maki Terashima-Furuta, is the president of Production I.G. USA. She founded the company in 1997 and was formerly its vice-president plus serving as a producer on the American distribution of many anime titles. Furuta has also done voice over providing minor roles in some of the titles she worked on, most notably the FLCL series.
