Joji Tani (谷譲治, Tani Jōji, born October 7, 1956 in Osaka, Japan), better known as Screaming Mad George, is a Japanese special effects artist, film director, and former musician. He emigrated to the United States where he became known for his surreal, gory special effects. Tani served as the director of the live-action Guyver movie and provided some monster designs for Spirit Warrior.
